Google Maps uses GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell towers to estimate your location. GPS is accurate to about 20 meters, while Wi-Fi and cell towers help improve accuracy when GPS signals are weak, like indoors. This data helps Google Maps provide directions, but it is not always perfectly precise.

10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (‘DNT’) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
11. REAL ESTATE SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES
In the course of providing our real estate services through Boutique Moments, we may be required by Portuguese law to share certain personal data and property information with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies. This includes, but is not limited to: Property details, images, transaction information, and related personal data shared with the Portuguese Tax Authority (Autoridade Tributária e Aduaneira) Registration information submitted to the Portuguese Property Registry (Conservatória do Registo Predial) Professional licensing and transaction details provided to IMPIC (Instituto dos Mercados Públicos, do Imobiliário e da Construção), the regulatory authority overseeing real estate activities in Portugal
12. MONEY LAUNDERING PREVENTION
In compliance with Portuguese Law 83/2017 and related anti-money laundering regulations, Boutique Moments is required to collect, verify, and process certain personal identification data from clients involved in real estate transactions. This includes: Verification of identity documents Proof of address and source of funds Beneficial ownership information for corporate entities Transaction monitoring data This information may be retained and, where legally required, shared with relevant Portuguese financial intelligence units and authorities. We process this data under legal obligation and to protect the legitimate interests of preventing financial crimes in the real estate sector.
13. DATA RETENTION PERIODS
In accordance with Portuguese legal requirements, Boutique Moments maintains certain personal data for minimum required periods, including: Financial and transaction records: minimum of 7 years as required by Portuguese fiscal legislation Client identification and due diligence records: minimum of 7 years after the end of the business relationship as required by anti-money laundering regulations Property listing information: duration of the listing plus 3 years for potential legal claims Marketing communications data: until consent withdrawal or 2 years after the last interaction After these periods expire, personal data will be securely deleted or anonymized unless further retention is required by law or justified by legitimate business purposes.
